The Balaton Sound Music Festival is one of the largest open air electronic music festival held in Europe.

If you are a music lover then this is the place for you. With loads of artists and DJs from all around the world performing non-stop, you will surely be able to satiate your appetite for music. The festival usually takes place in the month of July every year. In 2018 it is scheduled for 4th to 8th July. While at the event there are a few things that you need to know and follow.

First of all, you need to make sure that you travel with all your necessary travel gear. Although you will find almost anything at Zamardi, but you will find things at higher prices during the festival. Get things such as medicines and first aid kits just in case you need one.

Since the festival takes place at the banks of the Lake Balaton there will be a lot of bugs at night, so you better get some protection such as ByeBugz etc. Second, you need to stay safe. You will be meeting a lot of people at the festival. Don’t let your guard down unless you are absolutely sure about your safety. Although, the festival is usually safe and people are nice, but don’t take any chances.
